Dato
AI data-leak firewall
Defensive security tool — every scan runs locally in your browser. No prompt, file, or event is transmitted. Assessment mode uses synthetic data only.

Inspect it before the model sees it.

Paste a prompt or attach files. Dato detects secrets, PII, financials, source code, and contract language on-device — then warns, redacts, or blocks according to your policy.

Prompt & files
Inspection resulton-device
Paste a prompt or attach a file to inspect it before it reaches an AI tool.

Policy controls

Decide what happens per data class. Warn educates in the moment, Redact strips the data and keeps the workflow, Block stops the send entirely.

Restores default policies, clears the audit log and the prompt box.

Audit log

Every inspection and policy decision, stored locally for security review. Export it for your SIEM or compliance evidence.

The Chrome extension runs the same checks right inside ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, and stops the prompt before it sends. Everything stays on the computer. To try the checks without installing anything, use the Firewall tab.
